Thymeleaf 3.0.2 JUST PUBLISHED

Thymeleaf 3.0.2 (3.0.2.RELEASE) has been just published.

This is a maintenance release with some bugfixing and minor changes, and should work as a drop-in replacement for 3.0.x versions. Have a look at our Download Page to learn how to obtain it.

Change log:

THYMELEAF CORE
--------------------

- Fixed <head> being aggressively auto-closed by block tags inside "script" or "template" tags, which caused JavaScript template fragments to be incorrectly inserted from other templates.

- Fixed Jackson not escaping '</' in JavaScript/JSON literals, which could allow code injection that prematurely closed </script> tags when browsers display pages in HTML mode.

- Fixed JavaScript/JSON literals not escaping amperand (&), which could allow code injection that prematurely closed </script> tags when browsers display pages in XHTML (application/xhtml+xml) mode.

- Improved error handling during Jackson initialization.

- Updated AttoParser dependency to 2.0.1.RELEASE.

- Updated Unbescape dependency to 1.1.4.RELEASE.

- Updated OGNL dependency to 3.1.10, removed direct dependency on javassist.

THYMELEAF SPRING3 AND SPRING4 INTEGRATIONS
----------------------------------------------------------

- Fixed ThymeleafView not having public constructors, which made separate definition of View beans impossible.

- Improved handling of View beans by ThymeleafViewResolver so that beans with scope prototype of class ThymeleafView can now be properly used.

Re: Thymeleaf 3.0.2 JUST PUBLISHED

Hello everyone!

I am interested in this technology as I am developing an application with SpringBoot, Spring4, Thymeleaf as a template engine and bootstrap. I has been quite easy to set up the initial architecture thanks to SpringBoot. However, I realised that the Thymeleaf version is 2 instead of the latest one. Therefore, I would like to know if there is any intention of making Thymeleaf adaptable to SpringBoot -I tried to do it by own and the config was being a nightmare, so I gave up.

Thank you very much in advance!
