Thymeleaf Eclipse Plugin not working!!!! Help!

robertobsc
Hi guys,

We are developing a big project with Thymeleaf and its plugin for Eclipse will be a nice hand!

But unfortunaletly the plugin is not working at all. The plugin installation occurs with success, but when i type "th:" and press ctrl+space, for example, it doesnt suggest anything. Even if i apply the thymeleaf nature to the project. Nothing happens.

It just says "No Thymelaf Processor Proposals".

Can you guys please help me?

I using Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers - Kepler SR1 version.

Thibault Duchateau
Hi,

First of all, did you checked the minimum requirements?

Are you using the latest version? (2.1.1 at this time)

Then, make sure that:
 * you open your HTML template in a "HTML editor", or it won't work
 * you didn't forget the Thymeleaf namespace, i.e. the <html xmlns:th="http://www.thymeleaf.org"> thing at the top

If you've already met all these requirements, please post the logs which appear in the Eclipe "Error Log" view when you add the nature and when you open a HTML file too.

Regards,
Thibault.

Everything tduchateau said, plus this check which came out of a Twitter troubleshoot I did a while back: are you using Thymeleaf 2.0.x with Eclipse plugin 2.0.x, or Thymeleaf 2.1.x with Eclipse plugin 2.1.x (the minor versions must match).

You guys rock! It was the different versions of the plugin / thymeleaf version.
I just needed to reinstall the plugin after downloading the new version of thymeleaf.

Thank you very much.
